La luna en el árbol

Overview

"La Luna en el Árbol" resides in the countryside, about 2 hours away from Bogotá. A semi-humid location where bamboo grows. The house enjoys the sound and view of crystal clear water.  

The design seeks to be in harmony with the client's personal and spiritual beliefs. Design-wise this treehouse is a two octagon plan where the interior and the exterior "dance" around each other.  

Each space, the outside, the inside and the corridor are connected and build upon a different tree. The treehouse was constructed 5 meters above the ground, and it was built using local techniques and eco-friendly materials.
